Wire Coiler Machine

The South Fence Machinery Wire Coiler machines have been developed from the company’s extensive experience of more than 85 years in the manufacture of wire fence products and wire fence manufacturing machinery.

This machine was originally designed for the Australian and New Zealand wire market to minimise the need of carrying heavy coils when running wire. Wire spools has been used for a variety of application including fences, vineyards, and manufacturing.

The wire’s gauge and tensile can be varied to suit the desired application.
Large coils up to 60kg’s can be manufactured with custom weights available on request.
The coil has a consistent diameter, cast and layering, guaranteeing highspeed wire pay-off for the installer.
Coils are wound in a clockwise direction, optimised for all standard wire payoff units.

The Human Machine Interface (HMI) screen facilitates easy setting and adjustment of the machine during operation as well as displaying real time manufacturing information and machine status.
The machine lays the wire in a horizontal plane using the latest Coil Density Management (CDM) control, this helps to minimise coil stack height up to 25% compared with current coiling methods.
A dual coil collection system allows the operator to tie off one coil while the machine produces the next.
The pneumatic crane system aids in easy removal of the finished coil from the machine to minimise stress and strain on the operator.
An automated pneumatic cutter is utilised to cut the coil free, ensuring a safe and accurate cut every time.
The pay off accumulator adjusts the speed of the wire to maintain a stable feed rate, reducing the risk of costly "birds nest" wire tangles.
